The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) Pavilion

The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) featured prominently at the 2024 Malawi Mining Investment Forum (MMIF), held from October 23�24 at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe. The forum, organized by the Ministry of Mining, focused on the theme *�Transforming the Nation through Sustainable Mineral Extraction�* and aimed to showcase Malawi�s mining potential to international investors.

MBS�s pavilion highlighted the importance of quality assurance and standardization in mining, ensuring that products and processes meet global standards. This was part of a broader effort to attract investors by promoting a structured and transparent regulatory environment within Malawi�s growing mining sector. The event attracted over 300 participants, including global stakeholders and local partners, offering significant networking opportunities for service providers and investors.
