MALAWI MINING INVESTMENT FORUM 2025
The Malawi Government, in collaboration with private sector partners and other stakeholders, is organizing the second Malawi Mining Investment Forum in 2025. This two-day international conference and expo will be held from April 28th -29th April 2025 at Bingu International Conference Centre(BIIC) in Lilongwe, the nation’s capital. The event aims to bring global attention to Malawi's extractive industry and foster investment opportunities in the sector. Malawi, a resource-rich nation in southern Africa, possesses a diverse range of minerals such as rare earth elements, graphite, uranium, gold, and gemstones. These resources are integral to the country’s industrialization strategy, a cornerstone of the Malawi 2063 Vision. Additionally, the mining sector provides substantial government revenue through taxes, royalties, and fees, contributing to development in various sectors.
